We are eager to share with all of you, the daily excitement that is happening here at The Full Moon Inn. In case you don't know, The Full Moon Inn is a gorgeous Bed and Breakfast, nestled on 12 acres in Fredericksburg, Texas. The Inn is convenient to all of Texas Hill Country's fun. We are right around the corner from all of the wineries, about 2 minutes from the legendary Luckenbach Dance Hall, and 8 minutes from Main Street in Frederickburg.
Capt. Matt has fashioned his Inn into a true Bed and Breakfast. So what does that mean? First, let's talk breakfast (please view our beautiful dining room pictured above). At the Full Moon Inn, we serve a gourmet breakfast on white linens. Breakfast is served at 9:00 am, and cooked fresh daily by Capt. Matt. Our guests will never be served a cold muffin or be handed a pre-cooked breakfast that has to be warmed in the microwave. The "bed" part of our B&B is as amazing as the breakfast. All of our guests compliment the comfort of the beds, and say they sleep better here at the Inn than they have in a long time.
I think it's important to note that it's so easy to relax here at the Full Moon Inn, due to our location. The hustle and bustle of Fredericksburg is fun and exciting, but at the end of the day a little peace and quiet is welcome. I love to shop on Main Street, but I wouldn't love to sleep there. Our Inn is equipped with many porches, rocking chairs, and other relaxing outdoor amenties. You can also choose to hang out in your comfy room and access every Direct TV channel you ever dreamed of, including NFL ticket!
So what happened at the Full Moon Inn today? The Captain and I went shopping in Fredericksburg to get ready for Thanksgiving. I am still in the process of fashioning our Thanksgiving menu. I will be including vegan recipes and gluten-free recipes, but the centerpiece of it all will be a 20 lb. Tur-duc-ken stuffed with Louisiana crawfish dressing. A big thanks to Rabideaux's Sausage Kitchen in Iowa, Louisiana, for putting that together for us on such short notice. We then, picked up some lunch at Porky's. The burgers were fantastic, and we have both been in need of a burger fix for some time. For dinner, we grilled an omelet of enormous proportions, and stuffed it with cheese, onions, red peppers, ham, garlic, green onions and mushrooms. We topped of that omelet with some Ezekial raisin bread and a cold glass of rice milk. YUM!
Thanks for reading, we hope to see you soon. You can call us anytime at 1-800-997-1124 to let us know when you'll be stopping by and staying awhile.
